Analyst's note:  This former Marine, whose letter to his Congressman I now share, points out Mr. Obama's unfitness to serve as President of this great nation.  Based on today's documented interpretation by OUR federal government, we are now both deemed to be potential terrorists.  I say both because I stand with the statements presented in letter by this fellow Marine.  Our once great nation has long been a role model to the world, protecting God-given, inalienable rights and freedoms.  Christian military men and women have stood for and continue to stand in defense of our homes and our families.  In today's new headlines I see Conservative? The Defense Dept. calls you “extremist”

Our history and our scriptures prove that as Christians and servants of our God, we are NOT authorized to negotiate the conditions of His eternal plan for us as individuals or for our nation.  We refuse to bow before men and women (be they socialist/Marxists/one-orders (progressives all), Muslim Brotherhood or some combination of these enemies both foreign and domestic) who understand neither our liberty or our security and are thus taking this nation on a path that will retain neither.  For those who choose to judge our actions and the standards of the Church on the basis of where the world is today and where it is going, they will soon enough find that they are not where they should be.

Staying on the gospel path of covenants, commandments, and ordinances protects us and prepares us to do God's work in this world.  As we press forward along the strait and narrow path, we build progressive spiritual strength -- strength in using our ability to act for ourselves. We are motivated from within, making plans for our life, including our education or vocational training. We explore those interest and skills.  We are motivated from within.  We work and become self-reliant. Federal government has a proper place, but it is and will not be our "God."

Sometimes we become the lightning rod, and must "take the heat" for holding fast to God's standards and doing His work.  I add my testimony that we need not be afraid if we are grounded in His doctrine.  We may experience misunderstanding, criticism, and even false accusations, but we are never alone.  Our Savior was "despised and rejected of men."  It was Jesus Christ, our exemplar,  who stood for truth - whether with words or with dignified silence 

Those who follow Christ have learned to enjoy wholesome fun together.  Through these experiences they come to respect and appreciate one another's spiritual gifts and the eternal, complementary natures of the sons and daughters of God. It is our sacred duty to stand with Him!

Christ endured to the end in all things. In response to the Savior's perfect obedience in standing strong, our Heavenly Father declared, "Behold my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified by name.

When we Christians testify by standing obedient and strong in the doctrine of our God, we stand in holy places, for His doctrine is sacred and will not be changed in the social and political winds of our day.  I declare, as did the Apostle Paul, "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, [behave] like men, [and] be strong." 

"I apprehend no danger to our country from a foreign foe ....Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter. From the inattention of people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence, I must confess that I do apprehend some danger.  I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing. Make them intelligent, and they will be vigilant; give them the means of detecting the wrong, and they will apply the remedy." (Daniel Webster, June 1, 1837; Works 1:403)

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their United States of America. Please share this with friends who wonder what they can the do.  We fight in memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives and our children. While we still have the power of "We the People" we must use it. Our U.S. Constitution prepared for us by Founding Fathers who understood all these issues, and much more, is and must be our guide along with our scriptures.  This is my fervent prayer for those who read this, and yes I say this in the holy name of Jesus Christ, amen and Semper Fidelis
