Analyst's note: Absolutely must read and carefully consider the impact.  Please don't overlook the solution.  This time "progressive" data mining techniques attacks against U.S. citizens comes from the unconstitutional Department of Education which will be provided “complete access to any and all data collected at the state level” to include information on the disposition, social skills and behavior of your children.  It is in fact, illegal for the U.S. federal government to establish a student database, “but they get around that by having the states do it.”  Now why would the OUR federal government be focusing on OUR student’s psychological attitudes, values and beliefs .... hmmmmm?  This is the same government where we just learned that 122 Democrats Vote Against Notifying the People if Obamacare Suffers Security Breach and Feds Interrogate Man Wearing Google Glass in Movie Theater.

This is Orwellian!  Apparently local school administrators, under Common Core, have access to such things as an unannounced photographic capability and GPS data being sharing.  This otherwise unknown data capability embedded in the iPads being issued to students and taken into your home are being used to provide data on you and your children.  Are you willing to ready to give up your Fourth Amendment rights (prohibiting unreasonable search and seizures)?  I think not.  What would happen if such databases were to be compromised ... we can only image?

The federal government will ultimately be measuring traits like dispositions, social skills, attitudes and “interpersonal resources” in students. The same government is also indicating a move toward changing student behaviors to promote what the federal government declares are keys to success beyond "cognitive." 

"Dr. Karen Effrem, president of the national watchdog group, Education Liberty Watch, is sounding an alarm about Common Core, the federal education standards that almost all states are adopting by accepting federal “Race to the Top” funding.

Under Common Core, Effrem said, students’ personal information increasingly is being collected, measured and assessed while the standards shift the focus away from academics and toward psychological training and testing of personal attitudes and behaviors.

[....] parents will not be notified if personal information about their children is released, nor will they be told who gets it.

Common Core, Effrem said, creates “a womb-to-tomb dossier on kids and families” that includes between 300 and 400 different data points, such as parents’ voting status, religious affiliation, medical data, newborn screening and genetic data.

That personal student information is to be stored and shared between states in what amounts to a national database clearinghouse of information that Effrem said will follow children and may help determine where they work or go to school.

[....] “It’s going to be like what happened in the Soviet Union or China,” Effrem said. “Only it’s going to be with super computers; it’s going to be at the click of a button instead of on paper.”

[....] some states like Illinois and Kansas are also implementing social emotional standards on their own, a practice it found is supported by a majority of teachers it surveyed.

The report also called it “critical” to develop social and emotional assessment tools so teachers can “measure students’ social and emotional competence.”  As yourself, by what authority is our federal government moving toward changing OUR children's behaviors to promote what the government declares are keys to success beyond “cognitive.”  This is a sure path to weakening our children, our families, and our national security.

Apparently the government views Mother and Father as only a breeding source for children who are then to be educated by and provided for the government.  This will lead to the destruction of the family

SOLUTION:  May I suggest a careful read of a document to counter this new "progressive" theory now growing in our federal government -- "The Family:   A Proclamation to the World." I add my recommendation to the need for the reaffirmation of standards, doctrines, and practices relative to the family which which have repeatedly been stated throughout the history of the world.  The family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children.  The author of this recommended document said the following about it.

“With so much of sophistry that is passed off as truth, with so much of deception concerning standards and values, with so much of allurement and enticement to take on the slow stain of the world, we have felt to warn and forewarn."
