Analyst's note:  Absolutely must read and carefully consider.  I've been observing this like other Americans since the Bundy struggle near Bunkerville, Nevada first made the news a few days ago.  It has greatly troubled me as I continue to watch and listen to otherwise intelligent people clearly unappreciative of the facts and laws regarding what is happening between the Bundy's and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).  I am operating with the understanding that the only legitimate purpose of any gov't is to protect the life, liberty and private property of the citizens. 

Please open and read on.  I also plead with you to take the time to watch each video that has been carefully chosen.  Please take the time to share this material.

n that I'm "north" of 70 years old, some might believe my problem is simply my age.  Let me assure you that my unhappiness, as an old farm boy and retired U.S. Marine, over this matter relates to our federal gov't operating well outside their Constitutional authority is NOT a result of some age related inability to handle the hassles of life or cognitive decline.  No, it is clear to me that far too many Americans, many of whom speak with great authority over the radio and TV, are simply ignorant of the facts regarding this matter.  I too often find the same ignorance in a number of conversations with people I have known for years as friends. I also note that Americans misinformed by a prostitute media are in no position to protect the US Constitution and their liberty.

We are watching this central gov't, and in some cases our state gov'ts, operating with unlimited powers (see The United States of SWAT? and Michigan Police Take On ‘Disgruntled Veteran’ In Hostage Drill and ** Feds Seizing 116 Miles Of Ranchers’ Land … And Moving Texas-Oklahoma Border ** and Emails: IRS Leaders Colluded with Holder DOJ to Jail Political Opponents of Obama).  So we see that the American people must still fight for freedom and sovereignty even here at home. 

This goes on even though each state is duty bound to interpose should the federal gov't step outside a list of enumerated powers.  By way of reminder, if the federal gov't acts outside the Constitution, then such laws as they may inact are NOT valid or legitimate laws. 

Call it my military background if you like, but I start spitting nails when I hear people like Senator Harry Reid state that supporters of Mr. Bundy are "domestic terrorists."  Mr. Reid needs to go back to school to learn the difference between "rights" and "privileges."  My guess is that before this is all over Mr. Reid will have his current privilege to operate in the Senate revoked by the people of Nevada.  The events for Mr. Reid may become even more intense as the American people discover his other involvement:  TREASON: Sen. Mr. Bundy's family has ranched on the land in Clark County, in the state of Nevada and done so continually since 1877.  We note that the state of Nevada was created and accepted in the Union in 1864 with recognized ownership of land within their borders as any other state as noted in the Original Footing doctrine.  Basically, this principle requires that any state added to the union do so on equal footing with the 13 original states.  The Supreme Court has ruled multiple times on the federal government having too much state land. It is called the equal footing doctrine and it is time that Nevada and all the other states that are buried under from too much federal presence get it enforced. This would bring about a major shift in the west and give the states more freedom for development. This will also mean less need for federal intrusion there.

As a result, Mr. Bundy has established rights regarding the use of this specific public land in question that includes the right to forage, water, personal access, range improvement, and public access.  In some cases these rights of "beneficial use" have been inherited; in other cases the rights in question have been purchased.  In addition to rights of beneficial use, Mr. Bundy has also established "prescriptive rights" that must not be ignored, 

Those concerned with the current operation of the Bundy Ranch are in fact in the same position as our early citizens found themselves prior to and during the Revolutionary War.  Their right of free speech is ignored.  Who in their right mind here in America would believe that Americans would accept restrictions imposed by non other than the BLM to a "free speech zone?"  Free speech is NOT a zone here in America!

Beyond the concepts associated with the UN's "Agenda 21," at least part of the problems we are seeing across America come from the 17th Amendment which turned the Senate over to popular vote instead of appointment by the state legislatures.  Thus the senators stopped being ambassadors for the states within the federal gov't to becoming agents for the centralization of power to Washington, D.C.  Having said this, I believe that in all matters of the federal gov't, the Constitution is the supreme law.

We can and must take back our country in a legal and constitutional manner. Each individual legislature is subject to the laws of their home state.  Our gov't representatives must be held accountable to their oath to "protect and defend the Constitution."  We must consider it a crime if any legislation is produced in violation of the U.S. Constitution (the Supreme Law of this land).  Such things as voting for such a law that gives the federal gov't powers beyond those enumerated in Article 1, Section 8 of our Constitution or that violate our "Bill of Rights (the untouchables) should be considered a crime.  Those who violate the law in this regard should see prison time and/or asset seizure to help reinforce the concept that "crime does not pay" ... even in Washington.

it is important for the American people to know that State legislatures are NOT subject to federal direction ... due to State sovereignty.  In fact regarding the states and the federal gov'ts, each is protected from incursions by the other.  A healthy balance of power was given to us by our Founding Fathers to reduce the chance of tyranny from either front.  In most cases, our sheriffs are the executors to the supreme law of this land (U.S. Constitution).  Should our sheriffs be forced to chose between their oath or obeying some statute, they must chose the Constitution over the statute.  Sheriffs, in those states where they have not been removed, answer to the people who elect them.  Note that a Chief of Police generally works directly for the major.  So guess who has the most power.
