Analyst's note:  Absolutely must read.  This unconstitutional activity by our FBI has been going on now for several years.  According to six federal judges, the FBI has been unconstitutioally bypassing the process of a warrant or subpoena and requiring a ban on talking about even the receipt of the FBI issued "National Security Letter."   Judge Andrew Napolitanos explains how the government used the law to attempt to extract information without a judge’s approval; and notes that the law only struck down a provision that prevents the free speech of the recipient of a “national security letter.”  Our 1st & 4th Amendment rights are in question here.

Amendment I - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment IV - The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Over 350,000 of these national security letters have been served since 2011,  Napolitano warned. “Do you think anybody we know has been the subject of them?”
