Analyst's note: A defecting Syrian General gives area locations of chemical storage locations. Read on an ask yourself, "Does America really want to get involved in this mess?" ... yet another in the Middle East. Where is the national security interest for America to send in our blood and treasure? Obama "Redline" or not -- as for me, I absolutely do NOT see a reason for U.S. involvement.
It is clear, thanks to Stand Up America, that Foreign jihadists are in fact fighting in Syria – for Assad’s regime.
Syria is a training ground for outside jihadist as they defend specific sites to include the Sayyidah Zaynab mosque in the suburbs of Damascus which contains the mausoleum of the Prophet Muhammad’s granddaughter, and is thus a major pilgrimage site for Shiite Muslims. The jihadist are coming from Leban, Iraq, and Afghanistan where recruitment campaigns are visible. Members of Hezbollah joined in the fighting in the border region of Qusayr in Syria.

"There are three types of chemical weapons: harassing chemical agents, incapacitating agents, and lethal agents. When the demonstrations started, the regime used harassing agents, like any country in the world using tear gas to disperse demonstrations. As for incapacitating and lethal chemical agents - the regime used incapacitating agents at first, but when the world remained silent about this, and the regime thought that the international community did not care, it used lethal [chemical] weapons in more than 13 locations. The last incident was in Utaybah. The regime used sarin gas on three occasions, and I am increasingly afraid that they will use agents more powerful than sarin. They have VX gas and mustard gas, also known as iprit,"
