Analyst's note:  This is the final straw... in the middle of the biggest geopolitical crisis in 30 years, Barack Obama skipped his national security team's meeting.  Instead, he was "briefed" by Susan Rice... the woman who spent months lying to America about Benghazi. Absolutely unreal.

We now see that Mr. Obama tells Russian President Vladimir Putin in a 90-minute phone call that his country sending troops into Ukraine is a 'clear violation' of that country's sovereignty, and urges him to withdraw forces back to bases in Crimea, this according to the White House. "President Obama told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday that his country sending troops into Ukraine is a “clear violation” of that country’s sovereignty, according to the White House.

The leaders spoke for about 90 minutes with Obama expressing his “deep concern” over Russia’s actions in the past two days and called on Putin to de-escalate tensions by withdrawing his forces back to bases in Crimea and to refrain from any interference elsewhere in Ukraine, the White House said. A White House official emailed some reporters to say that President Obama's team met today to discuss the ongoing situation on Ukraine. It appears President Obama did not attend. 

"The President's national security team met today to receive an update on the situation in Ukraine and discuss potential policy options. We will provide further updates later this afternoon," reads the full statement.
