Analyst's note: Absolutely must read. Large, well-coordinated attacks could give way to death and terror by a "thousand nicks" -- some by "mail-in" and others from operatives who cross our borders as illegal immigrants operating in many different ways against self-designated "targets of opportunity." There continues to be the growing threat of Islamist jihadist converts of "Americans" or by immigrants already inside our borders.
Despite the most recent "spin" about successes, our Department of Homeland Security once again demonstrated that it is not. It is time for Janet Napolitano to find another job.
Our former "standard media" is generally not reporting the facts to the American people on matters of illegal immigrants as evidenced by this article. Yet our borders remain totally porous to illegal immigrants. Please don't think the Islamist are not aware of this issue and doing everything they can to take advantage of it. Significantly, the White House admits a direct link from the recent Times-Square attack to the Taliban and thus al-Qaida -- specifically the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan otherwise known as the TTP. In the case of the Times-Square attack, the jihadist was trained in Pakistan and then tried to bomb Times Square. Faisal Shahzad (the American citizen jihadist) is reported to have made 13 trips to Pakistan, spending a total of five months there.
"[....] According to a report obtained by the Terrorism Committee of the National Association of Chiefs of Police, the Government Accountability Office's first two testimonies/reports before the U.S. Congress focused on covert testing at ports of entry -- the air, sea, and land locations where international travelers can legally enter the United States.
In its third testimony/report, the GAO focused on limited security assessments of unmanned and unmonitored border areas between land ports of entry.
GAO officials were asked to summarize the results of covert testing and assessment work for these three testimonies. [....]
[....] "The government has conducted numerous vulnerability tests and they all appear to highlight the fact that our borders are porous not only to illegal aliens but also to terrorists, weapons of mass destruction and other contraband. [....][....] GAO investigators identified numerous border security vulnerabilities, both at ports of entry and at unmanned and unmonitored land border locations between the ports of entry. In testing ports of entry, undercover investigators carried counterfeit drivers' licenses, birth certificates, employee identification cards, and other documents, presented themselves at ports of entry and sought admittance to the United States dozens of times.
They arrived in rental cars, on foot, by boat, and by airplane. They attempted to enter in four states on the northern border (Washington, New York, Michigan, and Idaho), three states on the southern border (California, Arizona, and Texas), and two other states requiring international air travel (Florida and Virginia).
In nearly every case, government inspectors accepted oral assertions and counterfeit identification provided by GAO undercover investigators as proof of U.S. citizenship and allowed them to enter the country. In total, undercover investigators made 42 crossings with a 93 percent success rate.
On several occasions, while entering by foot from Mexico and by boat from Canada, covert investigators were not even asked to show identification.
For example, at one border crossing in Texas, an undercover investigator attempted to show a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer his counterfeit driver's license, but the officer said, "That's fine, you can go" without looking at it. [....]"
Short of unnamed and unspecified numbers of "senior U.S. officials" reporting that a new enemy operative is inside the United States, nothing specific is said to be known about a new replacement for Faisal Shahzad (sentenced to life in prison). Shahzad was associated with the Pakistani Taliban, also known as Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan. He was the man who attempted to create an explosion in Times Square. Where, when and how the next attempt will be made against soft targets in the U.S. is said to be unknown. Some are asking if the possibility of another attack within the U.S. is a result of affiliation with al Qaeda ? We must quickly come to understand that it really matters little. It is all part of the same global Islamic jihadist movement from a rather large group of people who don't like us very much. The spokesmen from the FBI and DoJ are said to not be commenting on this situation. I also note that we continue in this long war to treat our captured and convicted enemies as if they are common criminals. Has anyone figured out that if we were really successful, we don't have enough jail space for this enemy?
What if someone gave a war and no one came -- until too late? That is basically our situation as too many of our U.S. and Western leaders are urging "engagement and partnership" with yet another unmentioned group operating within the U.S. That most dangerous group is called the Muslim Brotherhood. This is the same Brotherhood that is regarded on one hand as a supporter of Hamas and at the other as a moderate voice of Islamism. The same Muslim Brotherhood who declared war on the U.S. and no one seemed to notice. The Muslim Brotherhood has a "Stealth Jihad" underway inside America. The question is, "How long will it take the rest of America to understand what we are up against?" There is no question that when sharia and American law are in conflict -- to the global Islamist Jihadist -- it is American law that is not being considered. We must remember that "Peace" within the minds of too many Muslims is the absence of disagreement with the views of the radical Islamist.
America, along with much of the West, generally still fails to realize that a Stealth Jihad or war is being waged against us on our own soil. It is being waged by an ideological movement that manifests itself in different forms of power: regimes, circles within governments, indoctrination of institutions, and other organizations. Because of their stealth, we have failed to detect and thus recognize the jihadist (Salafist & Khumeinists) menace that moves within our society and have done so since at least 1963. We still see much of the mainstream press, maybe as much as 90%, still trying to find non-existent roots other than jihadism to explain the terrorism in this country since 9/11.
We have 80 percent of the mosques in America that are inculcating and disseminating totalitarian anti-Semitic ideology. With as many as 3,000 mosques in the United States we then have approximately 2,400 of them are preaching treason and sedition inside our own United States.
Oil money remains the most significant factor contributing to this grand deception. Gulf oil-producing regimes and individuals continue to make money available through various means to colleges, schools, and universities. Oil money also makes its way to public libraries, the public media and government agencies dealing with education, defense and national security. The influence has spread like a cancer through all layers of public life. As such it has directly influenced the well-being of our economy, and our political establishment. Such power and influence from oil money is also found within the United Nations.
This corruption by oil money has poisoned much of our public perception. This includes our newsrooms, courtrooms, artrooms (including what comes out of Hollywood), too many of our war rooms, and finally our legislature and business suites. We are seeing the consequences of this today.
Political correctness is certainly contributing to what is being reported here in this story. We are now rightfully concerned about jihadist recruits who go abroad for training and experience and who could return to the United States to carry out attacks. We must also concern ourselves with those who radicalize and never leave our shores. So one must ask are we concerned about another unknown Islamic jihadist operative within the United State? That answer is a clear and resounding yes.
