Analyst notes: Here is an excellent article in a English newspaper about what affects America and the West mightily. We ought to think carefully about what is said here. They suggest China wants to corner the finished goods manufacturing on the high tech products rather than sell the raw materials to the West. The profits will be higher for them.
It would further decimate American (and other western nations') market segments if China and other raw material sources decide to build up in the supply chain by making the more profitable finished goods!
We lost electronics, computers, cars, and many other industries; now we stand in jeopardy of losing critical military goods and even the few microelectronic components we do still make.
One can only wonder if the eco-alarmists who had mining and manufacturing here in America realize economics will eat our whole industrial chain if we must outsource materials and processes overseas. Can this be one more round of economic loss for the nation? Is there any question that our military power depends on sophisticated electronics.... and China?
