Analyst's note:  Right and wrong! Staying involved in all regions of the world is a must.  The problem arises when our illustrious "leaders" decide to misunderstand this Islamist enemy and use the military as low-rent/high risk beat cops.  It seems to me it's time for the three piece suits to show what they're made of; step up for a tour or shut up and let us do it right!  Semper Fidelis

The United States wants to partner with the leaders of Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and other countries in the Middle East and cannot withdraw from the region, U.S. President Barack Obama said Sept. 20, Reuters reported. The United States is the one indispensable nation, Obama said. Washington is adjusting to new, uncertain realities in the region.
