It is time that "We the People" step up and demand the truth about the murders of fellow American citizens in Benghazi. Congress still controls the "purse strings" .... and they still report to the American people.

Dear Fellow Americans:
Barack Obama and his cronies think they’ve pulled one over on the American people, getting away with a major bloody cover-up almost completely unscathed.
They think that after months of lying and obfuscating the facts, the truth of what happened with the September 11th attacks on our embassy in Benghazi – and how complicit they were in the deaths of our Ambassador and other brave Americans – is safe from being revealed.
You may be thinking, “How can that be possible with so much damning evidence against Obama and his Administration?”
Believe me, we’re disgusted too. Unfortunately, only a few House Republicans and a small group of news outlets care enough about the lives of our people abroad to pursue the truth. And they don’t have the legal power to actually put the guilty parties behind bars whenever we find out who has blood on his hands.
That’s why we at Special Operations Speaks sponsored our petition – now more than 100,000 signatures strong – demanding that the Justice Department appoint a special prosecutor.
We now have the attention of Congress, but, unfortunately, thanks to a back room ‘bipartisan’ agreement in 1999, the U.S. Congress relinquished its power its responsibility to keep its power to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the executive branch when it closed the United States Office of the Independent Counsel.
Now, the only person who can appoint an independent counsel is Obama’s best friend, US Attorney General Eric Holder.
We all witnessed first hand what lengths Eric Holder went through to hide the truth about Fast and Furious. Not even the House Oversight Committee run by Rep. Issa could crack Holder. Obama’s administration runs amok and Holder covers it up.
Sounds hopeless, but it is NOT!
The GOP-run House of Representatives on its own can DEFUND the Attorney Generals office, and DEFUND Eric Holder, until he appoints a REPUBLICAN Special Prosecutor.
With a cover-up this big, we need and deserve an independent investigation – with the power to find out exactly who is responsible.
We now know that the Obama Administration knew months in advance that the Benghazi consulate was under threat of attack.
We know that the CIA told the Obama White House within minutes of the attack that it was a terrorist operation.
We also know that someone in the Obama White House scrubbed that information from the record and sent out our U.N. ambassador to lie to the American people.
Yet Obama and his top level staff are still smirking as we try to uncover the source of those lies – because they know that they’re untouchable as things sit today.
Attorney General Eric Holder would never willingly allow his Justice Department to investigate the crimes of his good friend President Obama. That’s why we need you to help us put serious pressure on Congress to force his hand.
We’re calling on Congress to defund the office of the Attorney General until Holder appoints a special prosecutor. While we have some support in the House – like Rep. Louie Gohmert – we need to let them know exactly how serious we are.
With so many Americans standing up for the truth, Congress will have no choice but to listen. And we must get their attention immediately to prevent any further collusion between Eric Holder and the Obama White House.
They’ve already stripped out talking points and told bald-faced lies to the American people – we can’t afford to give them any more opportunities to manufacture a cover story or destroy evidence.
The families of the four Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice are crying out for the truth. The American people deserve the truth. But as long as we don’t put the greatest possible amount of pressure on the Obama Administration, they’re going to do what they’ve been doing all along – deceive, distort, and distract.
The mainstream media are in the President’s back pocket, and the Attorney General’s office is simply another appendage of the Obama machine.
It’s up to us to do everything within the power of We the People to shine light on their deceptions.
