(Analyst's note:  Must read.  According to Dr. Phares, we are confusing our enemies with our strategic message.  It is little wonder when our gov't and standard media work so hard to not even identify those who still constitute a threat to our United States.  I agree that "... a reminder of American strategic priorities must be communicated in Arabic to the region’s audiences [...]" we win and you lose.  We are in a street fight, and weakness is considered "poor form."  One central, clear, coordinated message is always good.  That way the troops know what is required of them even when they lose communications.   It might also be a good idea to stop the "apology tours," and for heaven's sake stop bowing to every leader.  Sometimes it still scares our troops and allies when they see and "officer running toward the rear" ... or showing his rear.)
