(Analyst's notes: This subject still remains extremely troubling. It seemed that this is a bit of history that should be preserved for later study. Once our current political situation eventually calms down and we reestablish a viable press within the United States a study of the facts on this matter still needs to be accomplished.
The "Butcher of Basra," Ali Ibrahim al-Tikriti (defected to the United States) and Saddam Hussein's No. 2 Air Force officer, Georges Sada clearly stated that Iraq's weapons of mass destruction were moved to Syria six weeks before the war started in 56 flights two Iraqi Airways Boeing jets. Also stated that Saddam worked with al-Qaida to build a caliphate by providing intelligence support, money, and munitions.
The Baathist Party of Iraq and Syria is backed by the Soviet Union because of the shared socialist ideology. Other reports clearly state that "[...Jordan was the third largest supplier of weapons to Iraq. After Jordan came Belarus, China, India, North Korea, South Korea, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Ukraine, France, Romania and Turkey. The report said these countries were involved in both "weapons of mass destruction and arms-related procurement." and there is said to be "[...] 40 million pages of documents and classified intelligence [...]
We can learn more from a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing Oct. 6, 2004. There are also discussions of audio "[...]tapes of historical significance plans to release them to the public Feb. 17, 2006 at the Intelligence Summit, a non-partisan, non-profit conference open to the public, scheduled to be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Virginia." "[...] The advisory council of the summit include(d) two former CIA directors, several generals, a senior officer of the Mossad and the former chairman of the British Joint Intelligence Committee." That "[...] year's list of presenters includes top espionage, counter-terrorism leaders who work for many different agencies throughout the free world."
"[...] In taking apart Iraq's clandestine procurement network, Duelfer said his investigators had discovered that "the primary source of illicit financing for this system was oil smuggling conducted through government-to-government protocols negotiated with neighboring countries [and] from kickback payments made on contracts set up through the U.N. oil-for-food program.
