An Iranian led pre-emptive attack on Israel will significantly impact our national security, as will an attack by Israel against Iran to preclude Iran gaining nuclear weapons.  Note that Major General Vallely (USA Retired) suggested at least twice a timing of these attacks -- this summer.  Iran is said to be coordinating and actually preparing a 3-pronged massive conventional weapon and chemical attack against Israel from those who surround Israel.

As you have been watching this CSIA Report, you know that we have been reporting this buildup.  Now dots can and are being connected.  Also know that "missiles-in-a-box" capable of carrying massive weapons now exist that can be placed off the shores of the U.S.  See "Deadly New Russian Weapon Hides In Shipping Container" and "Syria sends Hizballah Scuds in disassembled batches" on the home page - search "missiles" to find it. These missiles could be launched from ships off our coast or from anchorage within our harbors.  It is hard to describe the gravity of this developing situation and the resulting scenario's now under discussion.  So do your best to get prepared.  U.S national defense IS AT RISK and THE RISK IS GROWING as is that of Israel.

My "heads-up" source for the piece on the missiles - whom I believe is correct -  points out:  "So much for the end of the Cold War. Even still this is likely to end up in the hands of Iran or North Korea. Russia is quick to do business with either and then act like they are willing do whatever it takes to work with the U.S. in curbing this stuff.. Politicians… create problems so they can claim to be able to correct them…."  This is likely to a very "popular" weapon from which we must now protect both our home shores & deployed forces.

These developing events are absolutely game-changing news for Israel, who in addition to these conventional weapons, also eventually faces nuclear weapons now being developed by Iran.

"A former CIA director says military action against Iran now seems more likely because no matter what the U.S. does diplomatically, Tehran keeps pushing ahead with its suspected nuclear program.

Hayden also called homegrown terrorism "a devil of a problem" and the most serious threat facing American citizens. "In a democracy it’s incredibly difficult,” he said. “Look, we’ve all made our compromises with al-Qaeda and the al-Qaeda kinds of attacks.

"But how do you build a security structure that guards you against American citizens who are beginning to change in their thinking up to a point where they become a threat to the security of other Americans? That’s a devil of a problem."

Hayden said that the next step the intelligence community would take to combat homegrown terrorists would inevitably begin to infringe on the privacy of Americans, and that was still too steep of a price to pay.

"What are you or your viewers willing to pay?" he asked CNN interviewer Candy Crowley. “How much would you allow us commerce or privacy or convenience in order to get down to that level of granularity. And frankly, I think American political culture. I think you and I, as citizens, would be uncomfortable going very far in that direction. That what makes this such a devilish problem."
