Analyst's note: UPDATE: 3 Days left. The long, hot summer could just be beginning. Thanks to Russia, the time for a military strike against the Bushehr reactor in Iran such that will **not** spread radiation and heavily impact Iranian civilians and possibly neighboring countries is basically a week away. This according to former US envoy to the UN, John Bolton.
"Once that uranium, once those fuel rods are very close to the reactor, certainly once they're in the reactor, attacking it means a release of radiation, no question about it," Bolton told Fox Business Network.
[....] Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Tuesday that "these threats of attacks had become repetitive and lost their meaning."
Bushehr sets the stage for follow-on reactors in Iran. The Voice of America is reporting that "Iran's controversial nuclear power plant at Bushehr will go online seven to eight days after Russia delivers its nuclear fuel supply on August 21."
