The answer is becoming more focused and the short response is "No."  One of the most current feuds is over foreign contributions to our political process.  We can be sure that their will be more significant public disagreements as the elections draw closer.  Is our national security impacted with the spin and the ultimate results?  Yes!  In the process, we are all getting a quick, but intense refresher course in civics and economics.
