Analyst notes: Well, here is another one. Our 'transparent" government has changed the Miranda Rights ruling. They decided they no longer need to "Mirandize" suspects if they don't want to ... based on the expectation they might get more information if they question suspects without the process. Well duh! Isn't that the right Miranda protects? It is useful with suspected domestic terrorists. Strange isn't it, when government wants, they feel free to change the rules all others must observe. Not only that, but they do it without any review, announcement, media coverage, etc. Just what makes the government's need for information more sacred than the safety of the citizenry who might be protected from crimes with more extensive rights to question suspects? The criminal violations are less priority than the government's political appearances or terrorist actions? When did we decide to treat the one threat as superior to the other. What happens when the terrorists is tried in civil court? Is that decision not to Mirandize an automatic "get out of jail free card"? What a tangled web these "intellectual" politicians are spinning! Reason gives way to politics once again!!
