Analyst's note:  When Iran gets the bomb, they will use it against Israel.  Iranian Islamist leadership believes the Mahdi or 12th Imam is 'near' and they believe that they can hasten his return by putting the world in total chaos.  It doesn't matter if you believe the story about the return of the madi or 12th imam -- the enemy does believe it and is acting now to bring about the blood and destruction that they believe will bring about his return.
