"The Iranian-sponsored Hizbullah is bracing for the fall of the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

“Assad has failed to stop the revolt and now the Iranians believe that time is working against him,” an intelligence source said. “His fall could take place in a year, in a month or even in a week.”
[....]“Right now, the assessment is that Assad is either going to be killed or replaced, and so Hizbullah is preparing to reduce its activities in Syria while Iran has begun to provide support to the opposition,” another intelligence source said."
