Analyst's note:  Over the last ten years, our national leaders, to include most senior "leaders" in our DoD and HLS, have failed to understand Islam, their Koran and sharia law.  As a result, our Islamists enemy who want to return the world to a global caliphate continues to "bleed us" culturally, diplomatically, financially, and militarily as our national "leaders" fail to make necessary adjustment in our national strategy.  Our federal government continue to misappropriate our nation's wealth and resources that are ultimately provided by our American citizens. Unfortunately political correctness scores again.   

This article, through the words of a "... renowned intelligence professional, Clare Lopez..." and her use of an embedded Pravda article entitled "NATO repeats all Soviet mistakes during Afghanistan's occupation"  written by Sergei Balmasov points out the following:

"[....] Aside from a small Westernized, Western-educated and/or influenced elite in Afghanistan, most Afghans still live in the 7th century – and want to keep it that way. So, we are retreating – after thousands of dead and wounded – having accomplished exactly what? Nothing!

We leave the place under Islamic law, which we helped write into their constitution. Al Qaeda, Iran, Pakistan, and Taliban alliances achieve all their objectives: infidels humiliated and out, Afghanistan under Shariah Law. Our friends and allies will be murdered or exiled…and women will be chattel, as always.

And instead of facing a courts martial for this catastrophe, we promote Petraeus!

How wonderfully stupid we infidels are.

[....] Clare Lopez cites the following from the article we recommend for you below:        

"The majority of the Afghans were infuriated with the attempts to have Afghan women involved in the public life of the country. The local people take such moves as an intention to destroy Afghan family values. The majority of Afghan women do not want to change their lifestyle.

As a result, Afghan people now believe that the United States and its allies came to the Afghan land to destroy Islam."
