Analyst's note: Absolutely must read and carefully consider. As American's, we must come quickly to understand our Islamist enemy, fronted by such groups CAIR, ISNA and the Muslim Brotherhood ... and yes they continually morph. Even now we how have Islamic groups tied to international jihad that continue to infiltrate our American military at the highest levels. The Muslim Brotherhood is alive and operating within our U.S. federal government. How long will it be before a U.S. Army "Officer" appears at your door wearing a Muslim headscarve or turban to inform you of the death of a loved one at the hands of an Islamist jihadist ... or the "religion of peace?" Please read the related articles within the embedded article.
Now why is it again that our Congress can NOT wish us a Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah? Now I ask you, "Is something wrong with this picture?" I can tell you that this will NOT end well for our nation.
Political correctness still kills. Our words, associations and actions really do matter. We now see how intolerant religious bigots from the Saudi Arabia-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), whose nations oppress non-Muslims, can dictate to the U.S. on limits to American freedom of speech.
"This caricature, which first appeared on CagleCartoons.com, has been making the rounds on the Arabic blogosphere, and points to how democratic elections are serving to Islamize Egypt: average women enter the ballot box—"overseen" by the Muslim Brotherhood—only to emerge thoroughly veiled, thoroughly Islamized.
Speaking of veils and the Brotherhood, here's an interesting video of Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser (1956-1970), showing just how much times have changed.
Speaking before a large assembly, Nasser told of how back in 1953 he wanted to cooperate with the Muslim Brotherhood, and met with its leader. (Nasser eventually learned that the only response to the Brotherhood is suppression, not cooperation, a lesson John Kerry and others in the current administration would do well to consider.)
According to Nasser, the very first demand of the Brotherhood leader was for the hijab to return to Egypt, "for every woman walking in the street to wear a headscarf."
The audience erupted in laughter at this, then, ludicrous demand; one person hollered "Let him wear it!" eliciting more laughter and applause.
Nasser continued by saying he told the Brotherhood leader that if they enforced the hijab, people would say Egypt had returned to the dark ages (to more laughter), adding that Egyptians should uphold such matters in the privacy of their own homes.
But the Muslim Brotherhood leader informed him that, as Egypt's president, Nasser himself must enforce the hijab, to which Nasser replied:
Sir, I know you have a daughter in college—and she doesn't wear a headscarf or anything! [laughter] Why don't you make her wear the headscarf? [laughter] So you can't make one girl, your own daughter, wear it, and yet you want me to go and make ten million women wear it?!" [burst of laughter and applause]

Half a century later and none of this is a laughing matter: the hijab, if not the full burqa, is commonplace in Egypt, even as the Muslim Brotherhood—who for decades were banned and imprisoned for trying to return Egypt to an Islamic dark age—are now poised to govern the nation, all under U.S. tutelage.
As Sheikh Osama al-Qusi recently said, the great "mistake" of Nasser's successor, president Anwar Sadat, was
not that he released these groups [Muslim Brotherhood] from the prisons after Gamal Abdel Nasser had incarcerated them; but rather for giving them the green light to work in all fields of Egyptian society, thinking he would use them to get rid of his Socialist and Communist opponents. So he permitted them to work in trade unions, school unions—giving them every opportunity to hold official positions [Emphasis added].
In other words, Sadat's great mistake—which cost him his life—is that he conferred a degree of legitimacy on the Muslim Brotherhood, thereby allowing them to worm their way into Egyptian society.
Such is the way of time: left unchecked, what was once ludicrous to suggest—for instance, the Brotherhood's 1953 request "for every woman walking in the street to wear a headscarf"—slowly and gradually becomes part of the culture.
It is for this reason that Sharia poses a threat to the West—not because it will be imposed on Westerners, but rather because, little by little, decade after decade, aspects of it may gradually worm their way in.

Absolutely must hear-- as discussed by Bob Anderson, William J. Dell, and Dr. Lloyd Case on the broadcast of Dialog: East Coast - West Coast. Understanding the content of this document is critical to the defense of our nation. Please consider downloading and keeping this report for further reference. This report "[....] should be taken seriously by anyone with an interest in national security issues, and particularly those in the U.S. Government." Please don't miss the videos below.
"[....] The 177-page report itself is entitled: “Shariah, The Threat to America, An exercise in competitive analysis.” You can also download it here (pdf format).
"[....]The Enlightenment values that inspired and informed the Founding Fathers to create America, which epitomizes Western Democracy, are the antithesis of the extremist – Islamist – side of sharia.
a. shariah is firmly rooted in Islam’s doctrinal texts, and it is favored by influential Islamic commentators, institutions, and academic centers (for example, the faculty at al-Azhar University in Cairo, for centuries the seat of Sunni learning and jurisprudence);b. shariah has been, for over a half-century, lavishly financed and propagated by Islamic regimes (particularly Saudi Arabia and Iran), through the offices of disciplined international organizations (particularly the Muslim Brotherhood); andc. due to the fact that Islam lacks a central, universally recognized hierarchical authority (in contrast to, say, the Roman Catholic papacy), authentic Islamic moderates and reformers have an incredibly difficult task in endeavoring to delegitimize shariah in the community where it matters most: the world’s Muslims. The report demands that genuine moderate Muslims and Islamic reformers must be encouraged, for without them, the hardline “Islamist” ideology will prevail.
[....] people who have masqueraded as “moderates” and have had the ear of government in America have had the same attitudes. Omar Ahmad, founder of CAIR had stated in 1998 that:
“If you choose to live here [in America]… you have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam. Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Quran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”[....] Chapter 8 of the report (p.133) states:In fact, by manipulating perceptions at the national strategic level about the nature of shariah, the enemy can actually exercise profound influence over the nature and adequacy of the defense mounted. That is most especially true of actions needed to contend with the Muslim Brotherhood’s stealth jihad – even though we know its avowed purpose is aimed at “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands.”To fully understand America’s peril in the face of such enemies, we must carefully consider our collective failure to contend with their successful pursuit of information dominance and psychological strategy, critical ingredients in information warfare. We must come to grips with, and correct, the control they have come to enjoy over what Americans, and most especially the U.S. civilian, intelligence, and military leadership, understanding about shariah and its proponents. David Yerushalmi answered a question comparing Shariah to traditional Jewish law, called Halacha. He later expanded on it in a piece for Andrew Breitbart's Big Peace.
